Fried Bread

As part of our celebrations for Matariki we had soup and made fried bread.
Thank to Mrs Kitching who made us delicious pumpkin soup and Mr Smith for coming to help us make the fried bread.

Making the fried bread was fun and something many of us had not done before.

We smelt it, felt it and watch it as it was getting ready and cooked.
Then we got to taste it!

What did you you notice as we made the bread?

Describe the bread and what it tasted like.

Matariki

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about Matariki.

This week in writing we are explaining what we know about Matariki and making a chart with the information for others to learn from.

What key things do you remember about Matariki?

Cross Country

We have been training hard for our cross country for the last 6 weeks.  I have been most impressed with how Room 9 have done their B.E.S.T throughout our training.

Tell us how you have done your B.E.S.T during our training?

What is your goal today?  What are you going to do to achieve this goal?

Good luck to day everyone.
